Case 94: Tenosynovitis of Wrist || Ultrasound

     

Clinical Features:

Adult male patient with right wrist pain.

Ultrasound Features:

• Compartment 1 tendons (Abductor pollicis longus & Extensor pollicis brevis) show surrounding hypoechoic minimal fluid collection at the wrist.

Ultrasound Diagnosis:

Tenosynovitis of the wrist involving compartment 1.

Ultrasound Images:

Compartment 1 tendons (Abductor pollicis longus & Extensor pollicis brevis) 

show surrounding hypoechoic minimal fluid collection at the wrist.
