Clinical Features:
A 9-year-old female patient with ASD came for a pre-surgical abdominal ultrasound scan.
Ultrasound Features:
A well-defined small round anechoic cystic structure with posterior acoustic enhancement & internal fine septation is noted within the splenic parenchyma without any surrounding architectural distortion.
Remember:
Post-traumatic, post-infarction & infective cysts should be excluded by the history and internal & surrounding findings.
Ultrasound Diagnosis:
Splenic cyst.
