Clinical Features:

A 65 years old female patient came with

- Lower abdominal pain

- Frequency of micturition


Ultrasound Features:

A saccular outpouching is seen from the right posterolateral urinary bladder wall communicating with the bladder lumen via a wide neck & mild trabeculation of the nearby wall.


Remember:

- Wide neck diverticula empty readily with bladder
- Narrow neck diverticula may cause urinary stasis & its complications, such as infection, stone & ureteral obstruction
